We are a small local practice specialising in Family Law and associated matters. We have 2 dedicated qualified professionals available to see you

We started up in January 2000, though David Lago has been practising in Nantwich and Crewe since 1987 and has gained a lot of experience and helped a lot of clients as a Family law solicitor.

He is also a member of Resolution (formerly Solicitors Family Lawyers Association)and the firm follows the Resolution Code of Practice

He has also trained and practised as a Family mediator and is a member of the Law Society's Family Law Panel, which accredits him with the necessary experience and professional standards required.

Deborah Hitchen was born in Nantwich and has lived here all her life.

She qualified as a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2003, and gained her Fellowship in March 2006.

Debbie says working as a Family lawyer means she can help people who are often anxious or in distress and there is a challenge in sorting out problems. She likes the satisfaction of doing a good job for her clients.

She has confidence in herself and her abilities and many of her clients come by recommendation from former clients, so her reputation is secure !

Debbie moved to join David Lago solicitors practice in September 2005, where she specialises in Family Law.
She says that she genuinely enjoys her work, and that every day is different with different people and problems to resolve. Debbie says

"I enjoy helping people to sort out their family and relationship problems. Where children are involved, I think both parents are equally important in a child's life.
I try to help clients see beyond the immediate pain and distress to resolution of the problem. Our approach and philosophy at David Lago & Co, solicitors is to be conciliatory where possible, and to strive to achieve a fair outcome for all parties involved.
